Awoco LED 13W Wall Mount Fly Trap Lamp for Insects
When choosing a location for the Awoco LED Fly Trap Lamp, select an area with a high insect density, close to an electrical outlet, and easy to access for servicing. Avoid installing the lamp near any competing light sources, such as bright sunlit windows or indoor lighting fixtures. Position the lamp at least 70 inches high from the floor to prevent direct visual contact with the LED light. Ensure the distance between the lamp and the ceiling is 24 inches or more for maximum light attraction.
To begin the installation, first lift the front shell and remove the LED bulbs to avoid causing any damage during the process. Hold the back plate against the wall and mark the screw locations with a pencil. Drill holes at the marked locations and insert the plastic drywall anchors. Install the backplate using the included screws into the anchors, ensuring the back plate is level before tightening the screws.
Next, install the bulbs and the sticky glue board, making sure the sticky side of the board is facing the bulbs. Finally, connect the power cord to the power outlet.
The package includes the following items: 1 x 13 W Awoco LED Fly Trap Lamp, 1 x Power Cord with Plug, 6 x Sticky Glue Board, and Screws. Please note that traditional fluorescent light bulbs are not compatible with this fly trap.
The Awoco sticky fly trap lamp is designed to keep your living space or sanitary area free of pests, such as flies, mosquitoes, moths, and other small insects. The lamp utilizes LED light to attract pests, which are then captured on the sticky glue board. The glue boards are coated with a special non-toxic attractant that is safe to use, and they should be replaced every 2 or 3 months for optimal effectiveness.
This versatile fly trap is suitable for use in a variety of settings, including homes, kitchens, restaurants, hotels, factories, supermarkets, hospitals, food industries, offices, and other indoor areas with a high pest presence. However, it is recommended to avoid installing the lamp outdoors where it may be exposed to weather elements.
The upgraded version of the Awoco LED Fly Trap Lamp features more energy-efficient LED UV lights, which are brighter than traditional fluorescent light bulbs. These LED UV lights are also more durable and do not flicker near the end of their lifespan, preventing eye strain and blurred vision.
The Awoco LED Fly Trap Lamp comes with a 1-year limited warranty on the fly trap itself. The LED bulb is considered a consumable item and has a 3-month warranty. If the lightbulb fails within this 3-month period, you can contact the company for a free LED bulb replacement, limited to the USA only. Awoco also offers replacement LED bulbs and glue boards for the lamp.
